The Tales of a Handlebar Mustache

The day to day of a red head with a handlebar mustache.

I got an ask saying I should braid my beard, but I can’t figure out how to braid my beard. Luckily, I have met women at the bar who have braided my beard for me. Here is an old pic from December 2012 with my beard braided.

Lots of women who call themselves feminists are misandrists. The other ones are just stupid. MRAs are the opposite spectrum of Feminists, so when you make fun of MRAs you are making fun of Feminists too.

no, no i’m not; your logic is incredibly flawed. i’m making fun of men who think their problems are worse than or equal to women’s problems with sexism (speaking broadly about sexism). i’m not telling you that you can’t be butthurt, but it’s silly. oh no, a big bad feminist told you that you suck, that must have hurt your feelings!

Men Have No Reproductive RightsMen are the targets of most crimeMen face longer sentences than women for the same crimes (1, 2, 3).  Those are just a few of what Egalitarians and MRAs are fighting to get rid of.  Yet Feminists are not helping to stop those things or actively trying to stopping them from getting those issues resolved.

and NOT lots of feminists are misandrists. feminists are men, women, trans*, and agender people who agree in EQUAL rights (yes, there are some extreme feminists too, but that’s not the majority). i’m not saying that there aren’t also different type of people who think mens “rights” are important, but they’re not very smart people. you must be taking it to a personal level or something, because i said i think those people are stupid and you are hopefully not a misogynist, so i apologize specifically to you because i kind of enjoy you. i am being nice enough.

Men and women can be misogynists and men and women can be misandrists.  Calling MRAs “not very smart people” because they are fighting for something that you don’t deem necessary is very demeaning and childish.  The only way it’s personal is that I think it’s unfair that I might one day face the discrimination I linked to above.

“MRAs are the opposite spectrum of Feminists”, yes, and exactly, what are you being an activist for? because feminism is about equality for all people. it’s called feminism, because way back in the day it was a bigger deal for women in general. it’s difficult to think that it was even worse than it is now.

If you want equality for everyone why not call yourself an Egalitarian/Equalist?  If Feminism is ‘for equality for all people’ then Masculism is too, since it is the opposite end of the spectrum.

Feminism ———————-Egalitarianism———————-Masculism(MRAs)

In reality Feminism focuses on helping women, and men if it benefits women.  It’s the same with Masculism just inverted.

Feminism did a lot of good things in the past for women but it currently doesn’t do anything of real value.  It just lives off the achievements of past Feminists who would more than likely disagree with where current Feminism movement is.  I would like to know what you think current Feminism is accomplishing? When I say Feminism I mean Western Feminism.

Feminism has actually done a lot to make women feel weak and scared and continues to do so because if it doesn’t then women won’t need Feminism.

I feel you didn’t look at any of the links I posted in the last post.  You should really check out the FAQs I linked to in the other post, because I have just been sharing what they have already said multiple times and better than I am.

Most people loved his cameo, why didn’t you like it?

I dunno man. The cameo from the woman who played Mystique in the previous films was done in a nice clever way but the Wolverine one seemed kinda irrelevant. Plus I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t have been wolverine at that point seeing as he was created rather than born a mutant. It seemed, to me anyway, that they didn’t have confidence in the movie doing well as it’s own film away from the other series. Like they had to add a well known character and actor idenitified as Wolverine to bump it up if it wasn’t interesting enough. Found it kinda cheap BUT the rest of the film has made me forget all that and love the whole film in general. I’m just being a grumpy arse

He was born a mutant, his mutant powers were bone claws, heightened senses, and an advanced healing factor.  All he got from the Weapon X project was the adamantium fused to his bones.  They never show in X-Men: First Class if he has the adamantium claws or not when he is approached by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, but he would have still been a mutant so he would have shown up on Cerebro.  All the movies are a timeline clusterfuck though, which is my biggest problem with them.
