On Ayn Rand
I feel a majority of the people who dislike Ayn Rand do it just because that is what they think they should say. I’m not saying that everyone has to agree with her, but I feel most who don’t agree with her beliefs do so without ever really looking into what she believed or reading any of her books.
One of the reasons I am slowly working my way through ‘Atlas Shrugged’, and maybe her other works, is due to all the hate I see directed at her. I am only 300 pages into the book, but so far I don’t see why her beliefs cause so much hatred.

People have a hard time liking things they have to slog through to understand.
I commend you on taking up this task, and it really isn’t that bad. It’s just weird that her end solution for most things is “be a dick to everyone”…

I liked Anthem. I started Fountainhead awhile back, but put it down because my leisure time got away. Might have to start it back up soon. I quite like her books.
