The Tales of a Handlebar Mustache

The day to day of a red head with a handlebar mustache.

Update On My Living Situation

So the friend I am staying with told me last night that today I had to find a new place to stay.  He said he didn’t expect me to stay at his place for more than a night, which he didn’t tell me until last night.  I messaged another friend when he told me that and she said that she would ask her roommates if I could crash on a couch there for a bit.  A cousin of mine said I could crash at his place, but he is out of tow camping until Sunday.

On the upside I got my bike fixed so I have a way of getting around a bit faster than just walking everywhere.  Today I am biking 120 blocks there and back from a furniture store to see if I can apply for a job.  The the brother of the girl that I messaged to stay at her place works there and I know him so I am hoping he can get me a job there.  I am also stopping by a place that does medical studies to see if I can get in one of them.  One study is 2 weekends for $1,100, the other two are for 4 weekends for $2,600, hopefully I can get in one of them.  I also am going to stop by a pawn shop down there to get an estimate of how much I could get for my 37” flat screen TV.  The tricky part will be getting the TV from my parents house without any trouble.

I have barely been eating anything partly due to a lack of hunger, moving has made me go into survival mode so I haven’t been eating much, and the fact that I have very little food and no money.  So on the bright side with all the biking and not eating I will probably slim down a bit.

If I get to stay at this girls place I don’t know how much of a chance I will have to get on tumblr.  I have my phone so I can check from time to time and I’m guessing she has internet where she lives, but I don’t know if they will have a computer I can hop on like I am here.  They live at least 40 blocks from where I am now and if I got the furniture moving job I would have to bike over 100 blocks just to get from their place to the job.  I will probably buy a bus pass, but the bus system here sucks.  Also, winter is coming and biking that far in the cold and snow would not be easy or maybe even possible.  Even though we have people here that bike all year I don’t think they bike that far in the winter.

Well this turned into a longer post than I intended it to be, but that is what has been going on with me the past 24ish hours.  Hopefully the next time I update you all I will have a new place to stay.  I miss reading, seeing, and reblogging all your posts and hope I can get back to doing that soon.  I enjoy reading the nice messages I get, you guys keep me going and staying positive.
